Cordillera Sur Energía Export Project
Cordillera Sur Energía (“CSE”) is a Texas based energy development company with expertise in developing, project-financing, building, owning, and operating energy projects in the US and internationally.
CSE is currently developing a natural gas export project to move shale gas from the Vaca Muerta shale gas field in Argentina to the CSE terminal on the Pacific Coast in Chile for export LNG and NGLs into the Pacific market.
CSE is currently targeting several major E&P groups in Argentina to provide dedicated reserves for the project’s gas supply and to transport the gas from Vaca Muerta to Chile in a pipeline along an existing pipeline route to be built, owned, and operated by a major pipeline operator.
CSE will secure letters of intent from Asian purchasers to toll the natural gas and NGLs through the Cordillera Sur Energía terminal for purchase FOB and delivery into the Asian market at rates providing a competitive return to the terminal and the pipeline, as well as a competitive margin to the JKM LNG price for the Asian buyers.
CSE will contract with a major EPC contractor to build the terminal infrastructure at a deep-water port location in Chile and arrange financing for the terminal in the international capital markets.
